Man-Made Attractions in Iligan City

Man by nature is artistic in his own way and there are certain places in Iligan where you can find man-made works of art.

Timoga Swimming Pools

     Timoga is known for its crystal clear and very cold water that flows freely to the swimming pools. It is located in Barangay Buru-un along the highway. There are 15 swimming pools to choose from that can cater to children and adults. The main source of water in the pool is coming from the spring. The pools are surrounded with cottages, picnic huts and other amenities.

Maze Country Resort

     Maze Country Resort has various amenities such as an Olympic size swimming pool, tennis court, skating ring, natural spring pool, diving pool, multi-function conference halls and rooms for short or extended stays.

Tinago Residence Inn

     Tinago Residence Inn is a mountain resort along the top of the ravine that hides Tinago Falls. It provides various amenities, like the restaurants, function rooms, suite rooms, cottages, three swimming pools, tree houses children’s playground, souvenir shop, viewing decks, boardwalks and mini zoo. The zoo has exotic birds and other wild animals.

Iligan Cement Corporation Guesthouse
     
      Located at Mapalad which is 15 kilometers from the city. It has a well-cared landscape, a clay surface tennis court, swimming pool and an open function hall surrounded by ipil-ipil trees.

Guesthouses of Industrial Plants (Private)

      Industrial plants and its guesthouses are part and parcel of tour packages of the city. They are often visited for educational tours and sometimes billet foreign consultants/guests and government dignitaries.

Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation Park

      This is located inside the MVC plant complex, which is 7.5 kilometers distance from the city. It has abundant foliage and is a reflection of MVC’s regard for nature and the environment.

Iligan City Hall

     Iligan City Hall is a tourist attraction. It’s built on top of Buhanginan Hill. The area provides a panoramic view of the city and is also suited for family picnics and for those just seeking solace and peace.
